About Youth Education System (YES)

Who we are

Youth Education System, known as YES, is a paramedical and healthcare training institute based in Karachi. Our main campus is in Gulistan-e-Johar, and we run a total of seven campuses across the city, so that students in Gulshan, Gulberg, North Karachi, Korangi, Malir, PECHS and Johar can study close to home.

Pakistan's hospitals, clinics, laboratories and ambulance services need trained support staff in large numbers, but a four or five year professional degree is not an option for every family. YES was set up to offer a shorter, more affordable and more practical route: diploma programs of one to two years that prepare students for entry-level roles in a hospital or clinical setting.

What we teach

We currently offer eight programs. Each one is built around a specific role in a healthcare team:

• O.T. Technician – Assist surgeons in operation theatres with sterilization and equipment handling.
• Lab Technician – Learn diagnostic testing, sample handling, and laboratory equipment use.
• Physiotherapy Technician – Help patients recover movement and manage pain through therapy techniques.
• Nursing Assistant – Support nursing staff with patient care, hygiene, and ward duties.
• Emergency Medical Technician – Train to respond to emergencies and provide critical pre-hospital care.
• Ultrasound Technician – Operate ultrasound machines and assist in diagnostic imaging.
• I.C.U. Technician – Train in critical care monitoring and intensive care unit support.
• Anesthesia Technician – Learn anesthesia equipment handling and patient monitoring in the operation theatre.

Our approach to training

Healthcare is a practical profession. A person who can recite the theory of blood sampling but has never handled a sample is not ready for a laboratory shift. For that reason our programs are designed so that classroom learning is followed by hands-on practice, with the aim that graduates can start work with basic confidence rather than learning everything on the job.

We also try to be straightforward with students. A diploma is a starting point, not a guarantee of a job. Employers look at skills, attitude and reliability as well as certificates, and we encourage students to treat their training period as the first stage of building a work record.

Vision. To become a leading centre of excellence in healthcare education and to help build a skilled generation of professionals who can improve the medical landscape of Pakistan.

Mission. To close the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice by providing hands-on training, suitable facilities and guidance from experienced people in the field.

Affiliation

YES is affiliated with the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE), the provincial body responsible for regulating and certifying technical and vocational education in Sindh. We recommend that every prospective student checks the recognition of any institute, including ours, before paying admission fees.

Student services

• Student portal. Enrolled students can log in to see attendance, results, study material and fee vouchers.
• Admission support. Our admissions team answers questions about eligibility, fees, schedules and seat availability by phone, email and WhatsApp.
• Complaints. Students and parents can lodge a complaint through the website and it is reviewed by the administration.
